AGM & FORTHCOMING EVENTS IN MARCH

Members, please note that all proposals have now been received for the AGM and are displayed on the notice boards in the Clubhouse. If anyone would like a copy please speak to Sue or Marilyn.
We are holding a WELCOME EVENING for our new members on Friday 12th March at 7.00 pm in the Clubhouse. This is a friendly, informal get together for our new members to meet up with other members of the Club and Committee. We hope you will come and join us and enjoy a chat and some nibbles prepared by our Steward, Colin.
Friday 19th March brings an ENTERTAINMENTS EVENING with a buffet and singing from girl duo, Helesa. Tickets now on sale at £12.50.
Colin, our steward, will be serving MOTHERS DAY LUNCH on Sunday 14th March with sittings from 12 noon till 4.00 pm. View Menu. Book early to avoid disappointment.
LADIES MAIL ON SUNDAY TEAM HAVE EXCELLENT VICTORY AWAY

On Saturday 13th February the Ladies Mail on Sunday Team of Lady Captain, Julia Brown, Peggy Newton, Catherine Smth, Leah Radford and Drina Terzza played Greetham Valley ladies away at Greetham Valley.
Playing in the bitter cold the match was a tense and exciting cliff hanger with Catherine going the whole 18 holes and securing a half on the last hole to take the match to a play off.
Catherine had led the team out as first player and Julia brought up the rear with the task of going up the 19th in the event of a play off. Sadly Peggy and Julia lost their matches, Julia 's opponent playing off scratch! Leah and Drina both won their matches and everyone congregated to watch Catherine come in on the last hole. Catherine achieved the half resulting in Julia facing the play off winning the match on the second play off hole with a par, her opponent missing the putt for the half.
